I recently returned to Sama Sama Amed for a family getaway, and it was just as inviting as I remembered. Nestled in Amed, this modest hotel is perfect for families seeking a peaceful retreat with plenty of activities for kids. The spacious rooms, while slightly dated, offered a comfortable base for our adventures. One of the highlights for my family was the snorkeling right off the beach. My little ones enjoyed spotting colorful fish, while I appreciated how we could easily rent gear from the hotel. It's a great way to introduce kids to the vibrant marine life that Bali has to offer. Dining at the on-site restaurant was convenient for us, especially since they had kid-friendly options. We spent several evenings enjoying meals with lovely views of Jemeluk Bay, watching local fishermen and divers. The staff went above and beyond; One day, when my child needed help, they quickly provided assistance, reflecting the warmth of Balinese culture.
